Thanksgiving Dinner

This FINALLY worked!

We got together at my mom's for Thanksgiving. My m-i-l made the pumpkin and apple pies, my s-i-l made the sweet potatoes, I did the mashed potatoes. Once we all got there, we helped my mom in the kitchen. Eileen (m-i-l) and Doreen (s-i-l) helped move the turkey from the roasting pan to the platter (with my mom directing!)

Tucker was really proud of the centerpiece he made

Cassandra helped by taking the rolls out of the oven

After all the activity in the kitchen, we finally sat down to eat! (even Tucker!)

Four turkeys holding turkeys (hee hee--sorry, I couldn't resist!) these are the Thanksgiving crafts Tucker and I made!

And finally...our mothers enjoy their usual holiday bottle of wine

The funny thing about this this year was that after we had cleared the table and sat down to play cards, my mom was looking for the bottle of wine for a refill and Eileen pulled it out from behind her!

I love Tucker's plate...especially the one carrot and the few peas! Jake had three helpings of turkey (with ketchup on it) and somehow managed to get out of eating anything else!

He's not the easiest eater, that's for sure! I used to eat ketchup on every meat because it was the only way my mom could get me to eat it! This hasn't worked with Tucker, though!
