Yesterday was the annual Boxcar Derby for Tucker's Cub Scout pack. This being our first year in Cub Scouts, we had no idea what to expect! It ended up being really fun! Basically the kids build a car out of boxes, paint it, and race it in various relay-type races! Tucker's den had a tough time at first with their car but they all worked together and did a great job!
After they announced the winners, Santa made a visit to hand out the car kits for the Pinewood Derby. Tucker has never been particularly fond of getting near Santa so this is actually pretty good:
Of course, being boys, when it was all over, they were determined to destroy the car! It took them awhile but they eventually did!
