I just wanted to update everyone-
I think my job interview went really well. I met with the Administrator and Director of Nursing for well over an hour. I got a tour of the facility and it is quite a nice little place, 124 residents. The position is for Director of Social Services with a part-time person that works 10 hours. They hope to make a decision by the end of next week so please keep thinking good thoughts!
More on electrical issues- we experienced more problems last night. The lights were flickering on and off, going from dim to blinding bright. I unplugged the major things and Tucker and I went to bed (it was 8:30 or so) with the flashlight (Michael was working). I reported it to the electric company because I couldn't tell if my neighbors had power or not. They sent a truck out around 10:30 and Michael went out to talk to the man to update on everything that has been going on. He checked out the meter box and declared everything fine from their end and said we would need to call an electrician. So we started the day by calling an electrician and he came out here and was here for all of 20 minutes. Something to do with the ground wires burning out. All I know is that it is fixed now. Of course, the electrician said it was something the electric company should have done!
