With Labor Day approaching (and with it, the "un-official" end of summer), I thought I would make a list of the things we actually did (compared to my "plans"!!)
1. Saw Fireworks on the 4th of July
2. Cook-outs with hot dogs and smores
3. Went to Old Sturbridge Village
4. Went to the beach
5. Used the Slip and Slide
6. Went to Lake Compounce
7. Went to NYC in August
8. Went to the Dinosaur Splashpad
9. Went to Fort Trumbull
10. Spent time in my mom's pool
11. Went to Roger Williams Zoo
12. Read (Tucker completed 3 different summer reading challenges!)
13. Relaxed (believe it or not, we did!)

You had a truly awesome summer. The best smores I ever made had chocolate graham crackers, homemade marshmallows (easy and tasty) and Reese's Peanut Butter cups. Yum!
