The Wizard of Oz made both of our lists! I love all the 80's movies on your list.
I love footloose because I got to go on set when filming it in Utah my brother was in it as a dancer
Forest Gump and Ghost are two of my favs. I'd add the movie Mask with Cher and Sammie Elliot!

I love Forrest Gump, Footloose, When Harry Met Sally, Field of Dreams, Ghost and the Wizard of Oz too, but my all time favorite movies are Groundhog Day and Defending Your Life with Albert Brooks and Meryl Streep.

I haven't watched some of these, but I've heard great things about them. I've been trying to find St. Elmo's Fire on DVD to watch, but so far no luck. =(
