To move this along a little faster, I'm combining Days 2 & 3. Today we went to Animal Kingdom and Julie, Jonathan, Madi, and Jake were going to meet us there!
The one thing my mother requested was a picture of Tucker with Tigger, her favorite character. Not only did we find Tigger, but we found Pooh and Eeyore, too!
A funny thing happened when we left Pooh. Michael went to pat him on the head, thinking it would be soft and nearly knocked him over!
We met up with Julie, etc after this and rode Kali River Rapids and had a BLAST!!!! I wish I had thought to bring my waterproof camera with me because we got soaked and it would have been fun to have a few pictures! We got right back in line for the ride and were almost on it when it broke down. They ended up closing it for the rest of the day.
A cool-looking dude I met in Africa! (I didn't catch his name though-lol!)
We took the truck to Rafiki's Outpost to check out where the take care of all the animals. We found Jiminy Cricket and Rafiki and had our pictures taken with each of them! I read somewhere that these are two of the rarest to find!
A hippo...
An ostrich...
An elephant...
Trading pins is a huge deal in Disney. Julie had given Tucker a lanyard and some pins for his birthday to get him started. He learned all the tricks from Julie's kids and turned into quite the little barterer!
The next day (Saturday), I still wasn't feeling well, so Michael and Tucker headed back to Magic Kingdom and this was when they rode Space Mountain 4 more times and went to Tom Sawyer Island which Tucker LOVED!!!!!
They came back to the hotel in the afternoon and I was feeling better. We wandered around the resort a little more and found Mr and Mrs Potato-Head in the 80s!
Saturday night we had reservations for the Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue at Fort Wilderness. It was a vaudeville type show with great food!
Day 4 is up next...Hollywood Studios!
