We started today with soccer tryouts.....
And finished with a baseball game this afternoon. Tucker's team was the 5th seed overall and beat the 3rd seed 5-0! so we move on to the next game on Tuesday!

A Sports-Filled Day
I'm really going to try to blog more often in an effort to document our lives (since that was the reason I started in the 1st place)
We started today with soccer tryouts.....

Catching up with pictures....
It has been almost two months since I have been on here! Hard to believe!!! It's not that I don;t have anything to say but more finding the time and when I do have the time, it seems like I don't have anything to say!
So here is what we've been up to since the end of April...
LOTS of baseball games!
Michael, tucker, his friend Robbie and Robbie's dad went to a Yankees game (FREE tickets again from Budweiser!)
Tucker had a SOLO in the 4th grade play (yes it was a singing one!) He did AWESOME!
Our moms toast to mother's day below...Michael grilled steak for us...flowers for the garden ...we also celebrated Doreen's 48th birthday!
We took Tucker and his friend Gavin to the local racetrack for a demolition derby!
Our niece Cassandra graduated with her Associates degree in Health and Exercise Studies> We're so proud!
Last but not least, Tucker and I participated in the Cancer Relay for Life last weekend. We even slept over!

3. I very rarely if ever step on a crack on a sidewalk or in a parking lot
4. This results in my walking funny sometimes.

6. people who forget their cars have turn signals
7. people who just drop off their kids at activities without making sure an adult/coach is there (I shouldn't count since I am not the coach)
8. when the gate on the side of our house is left open and I have to shut it everyday
*I may be a little edgy about this right now. Turns out we've been missing out on communications from Tucker's baseball manager because he only sends texts---ARRGGHH!

Spring Concert
Tucker had his first concert this week and had to wear a tie for the first time! I may be slightly biased but I think he looks very handsome! lol
They do concerts differently than they did "back in my my day"; the kids all do solos, duets, or in Tucker's case, a trio with his buddy Robbie and Byrce. In 5th grade, they will all play together as a "band". They all did such a great job and we are so proud of our trumpet player!

My Precious Baby Boy...
I can't believe that this precious little baby has grown into a 10 year old boy who is more precious to me than I could have ever imagined. He is my goofy, crazy MonkeyBoy and I can't imagine loving him more if I wanted to!

Tucker's birthday party
The calm before the storm...We celebrated Tucker's 10th birthday with an all-boy sleepover! His friends Andrew, Aaron, and Mason came and seemed to have a lot of fun! they started with a balloon stomp and then played the above games for tickets which they cashed in for prizes. then it was on to the cake and presents followed by an all-out )outdoor) Nerf gun fight!
